The community Falkenrehde with a population of ca 700 is a typical ribbon-built village, situated directly at the B 273.
The good accessibility to the road network and the motorway make this village especially attractive.
The village was first mentioned in the year 1282. The church, built in 1750 was changed in the year 1910 and a west tower was added. Inside the church one can admire a wonderful baroque baptismal pendant. The two-winged forged gate of the churchyard portal, built in 1803 is also a great sight. The whole villagescape still represents today the building style of the Prussian rural architecture.
At the village exit in north direction still stands a well preserved estate, a late-gothic brick building from the 19th century, which is used commercial today.
