Gregor Lersch – Art creating Florist without anything Artificial
Gregor Lersch loves everything that grows and thrives. He has an infallible eye for 'natural materials'. His creativity enables him to convert leaves and blossoms to artworks without spoiling their naturalness.
Born in 1949 as offspring of the gardener-family Lersch, he follows the family footsteps and extends his gardener schooling with a florist traineeship. If we talk today of a master florist we don't only mean his training qualification but most of all his numerous titles. Gregor Lersch has been convincing international juries and committees for decades with his ideas and has continuously, since 1974 been awarded with prestigious prizes. He started his triumph as German Master, earned more than 30 gold medals, 22 silver and some bronze medals, became first European master and participated in diverse world cups. He was also awarded the golden state prize for floristry for his overall performance in 1979 at the Bonn Bundesgartenschau (horticultural garden show).
Gregor Lersch still travels the world, decorates international hotels and is booked for high-class events. He also gives international desired seminars for interested people from all over the world. But he never loses sight of his shop at the Neuenahrer Telegrafenstraße, which still is the border-crossing first address for floral design. In addition, the local supportive cosmopolitan supports regional tourism and promotes his home with ever new ideas and honorary arrangements.
Gregor Lersch has been creating for the past years heavenly light moods for Christmas around the Kurpark, a unique ambiance at the banks of the Ahr in Bad Neuenahr.
The BANK-lights Bad Neuenahr have become by now an insider tip in Advent.
This event is different to other commercial Christmas markets through its tranquil festive mood.
