Dogs graveyard at the Himmelmoor

Animal burial instead of animal disposal

When your long-time companion, your best friend, finally puts his old and tired
head on his paws... This pain is
hard to bear.
But the thought to 'dispose' this four-legged friend like an item hurts even more.

We are here to help you to say good bye to your four-legged comrade and let the deceased animal rest forever in peace in a stylish setting.

Since 1968 there is a animal graveyard, idyllic situated at the edge of the forest. it is located in the nature reserve behind the village Renzel near Quickborn in the district Pinneberg. You hardly notice it as it is so naturally imbedded into the overgrown wooded paradise, the last resting place for your beloved buddy. This sign pointing the way is the only indication for visitors.

The oldest graves are to be found at the back of the graveyard, in parts generous monuments, looking worn by the ravages of time, relicts of gratitude and love.

In front, not yet to be seen from the twin-birch you will find the active part of the dogs graveyard: graves taken care of with devotion in remembrance of happy times with the beloved animal.
