In Haselau you can kill tow birds with one stone. Because two sights are in close proximity to each other.

The church
The bulky spire can be seen from far away. The building stands right in the middle of the old graveyard. The graveyard has not only wartime graves but also very personal created graves.

Archaeological monument
Nothing is left of the old castle. Only the mound on which the castle stood and the moat. The moat is in parts quaintly overgrown and at times there is a real romantic atmosphere. The community Haselau thinks this place worthy to turn it into an archaeological monument. The plaque standing at the water gives information about the community Haselau and the castle Haselau.
