The focal point of Semlin's village centre
forms a little half-timbered church
Short Description:
- built around 1730, the weathervane is dated 1732
- redesigned at the end of the 19th century
- 1917 the pewter organ pipes were removed and one year later the bronze bell - ground confiscation order
- the organ was restored ten years later
- 1944 - 1945 the church was used as storage for optical equipment
- in April 1948 the church got a new bells made of bronze
- 1982 great celebration for the church's 250-year birthday - 1985 urgent restoration measures to stop dereliction
- Thanks to the many donations and development funds in the nineties the little church shines in new splendour again
- 30.07.1999 new organ is inaugurated
