If you visit Warnemünde, you will be overwhelmed by the flair and the beauty of the old Strom. Seagulls screech, the red and blue fishing boats are rocking softly at the quay and on the other side, are numerous old fishing houses to be admired. But fishermen do not live here anymore. Rather, the visitor will find a strolling mile with shops, restaurants, ice cafes and snack bars, seeing this just makes one happy and relaxed.

At the end of the old Strom, comes the pier, which is accessible all the way to the two beacons.

Freshly caught fish can be bought from the fishermen on both sides of the Strom. Whether herring, cod or plaice, if you ever have fried fish yourself, you know how delicious fish can be. You can't get fresher fish anywhere than here!

Ein kleiner Tipp! Wer am Wochenende fangfrischen Fisch holen möchte, sollte möglichst vor 10 Uhr da sein.

But, if you don't want to do it yourself, the super fresh fish can also be bought skilfully prepared in any of the many restaurants and snack bars around the old Strom.
