With the start of the Anhalter train from Leipzig to Berlin via Wittenberg a train station was also created in 1840 for Trebbin.
Trebbin, situated very near to Berlin is ideal for a trip to the city where one still happily remembers the Markish joker Clauert.
Trebbin was connection in 1840 to the Anhalter rail and in 1841 started the rail traffic between Jüterbog and Berlin. A reception building was constructed in 1876.
Today there is an hourly direct service and to and fro Berlin with the regional express railway.
