The Wulfs mill, situated 1 ½ kilometres north of Tangstedt at the upper reaches of the river Pinnau and at the large millpond, stands on historical mill ground. The 'molen to der Wulvesborch'*, near Tangestedt', was already mentioned in a certificate from the 24th of January 1382, issued by Earl Otto I and his brother Bernhard, dean of the cathedral in Hamburg. for centuries, the Wulfs Mill was a sovereign property, usually leased to millers.
