The Kurpark is situated between the Soltauer Str. and the Uelzener Str. The park is also accessible from these street.
The Kur-administration designed the 23 hectare large Kurpark in 1906.
Expansive lawn areas are ideal for sportive activities like badminton, Frisbee and jogging.
There are also tennis courts, mini-golf-facility and a playground.
Once and awhile one meets jugglers who practise their art here.
In summer concerts and and open-air cinema takes place in the Kurpark.

Salina in the Kurpark
The 155 metres long salina is the heart of the health town of Bad Orb. It was built in 1806 and was used for winning salt. in Bad Orb. It is the only still existing building from the time of salt winning. today it is situated in the Kurpark and is being used due to its healing effects as Inhalatorium by health resort guests.
