I discovered the joy of drawing very early on. In this phase I did watercolours which I gifted to a circle of friends.

After the Abitur I read communicative design in Mannheim a left with as a graduated graphic designer.

As a balance to my work as graphic designer I did some small delicate pencil and coloured pencil drawings, which I then presented in an exhibition for the first time. Following that I exhibited my works in different galleries.

From the end of 1988 my family was in the focus. I have been living in Langweden since 1994.

Some years later I was engaged intensively with drawing. In this phase I was keen to try different techniques like pastel, pen drawings and acryl painting. But I preference is still pencil and coloured pencil drawing.

From 1999 I wanted to share my knowledge with other interested people. This way the drawing group 'Klatschmohn' was setup in Etelsen.

The intention of my drawings is to produce reality accurate in every detail on paper, to show a section as a whole and so open up new perspectives to the observer.
