The family Simons' park existed already when around 1900, the Simon Villa was built on a small mound in the Gartenallee 14 under the management of architect Magnus Schlichting.

In the factory buildings, which were situated behind the villa, the cloth was produced for centuries that made the name Simons known in Europe.

After the demise of the textile industry in Neumünster the buildings were pulled down. The Simonssche Villa was restored and is now a large surgery for oral and maxillofacial surgery.
