The Freizeitbad Störtebeker lies centrally in Nordenham at the Atenser Allee (old Bundesstraße 212). It has been rebuilt in 1994 with great investments to give the leisure bath a maritime character. It was transformed from an simple indoor swimming pool to a leisure time orientated facility with many water attractions like a 67m long water-slide, adventure pool as well as a parents-child-area. In spring 2003 the Freizeitbad Störtebeker was completed with an outdoor pool with wide-slide, gushing-sprinkler and resting bay.

The sunbathing lawns are equipped with table tennis, giant chess and volleyball sets. The leisure bath is an El Dorado for all water loving people.
