The Peter and Paul church of the community is situated on the Kirchberg, a hill in the lowland of the Neetze river. Opposite the church is the old Thomasburg school located, which has be converted into a residence now.

At the beginning of the last century, 1907/08, the Peter and Paul church is being rebuilt. A porch in being created, the altar room extended and a organ gallery built.

The altar, pulpit, the baptismal font, lectern, wall lights, the organ and much more was purchased from donations.

1990/93 the church is being thoroughly redeveloped and renovated and now shows the colouring from the year 1908.
