Landscape Conservation Area

Parts of the landscape that are either too sensitive, especially pretty or important for the population's recreation can be declared landscape conservation areas. There changes are only possible with a special permission.

Nature Reserve

The declaring of nature preserves is the most rigorous legal instrument to protect nature and landscape. They are especially declared for the preservation of life partnerships or habitats of wild growing plants and wild roaming animal species. At a nature reserve all kinds of disturbing measures (for example the building of roads, paths and buildings, changes of groundwater and similar) are prohibited.
When you enter a nature reserve you have to keep to the sign-posted paths!
