A Wallhof has been here since the year 1100. Old documents show that the village Lutterbeck was first recorded as 'Lutterenbike' in 1275.
The chapel in Lutterbeck, once inaugurated by St. George, was so badly damaged during the Thirty-Year War that it had to be pulled down in the year 1736 and replaced by today's chapel.
