For the past 10 years, the Metronom-trains have been running between Uelzen and Göttingen hourly. Also on this route, the metronom Eisenbahngesellschaft mbH wants to provide good quality and high performance for its passengers. The Osthannoverschen railways of Celle are also involved.

Travelling by the Metronom trains offer more comfort than the Deutschen Bahn AG. Vending machines for food and beverages take care of your hunger when you are on the move and regular commuters are able to reserve their favourite seat. There are also barrier-free entrances!

Metronom offers direct connections to Hamburg, four times a day. Thus, there is no need to change trains in Uelzen.
Since 2003, the railway company has been commissioned with the local traffic between Uelzen and Hamburg.
The company trains all carry the names of Lower Saxon cities.
