I was born in the East Frisian rural district of Leer in 1949. after my school time I started a traineeship in healthcare. I married in 1967. This marriage produced two children. After several moves we finally settled in Langwedel in 1973. In 1983 we built a house in Daverden and are very happy there.

Since the age of 15 I have been writing poems with interruptions though. They are not all authentic. Dealing with people and my own life experiences have inspired me. Coming from instinct, from the heart everything that touches me.
I published my poems with a self-made audio CD for the first time in October 2007.

Another hobby is photography. Some of my photos are exhibitied in the town hall in Langwedel.
