Whether you hike in the bordering forests, swim in crystal clear lakes or just relax and enjoy the clean air
- or -

you look at one of our sights in nature, like the Arboretum with over 600 shrubs from North-America, Asia and many European areas. The citizens of Bad Grund called it lovingly the Exotenwald (exotic forest). Do visit our highlight, the HöhlenErlebnisZentrum Iberger Tropfsteinhöhle (stalactite cave), which opened in 2008 and our Clock Museum (One of the biggest in Europe). From the Hübichstein (rock), which can be climbed, you will have an idyllic view over Bad Grund.

Maybe, you are also interested in the underground 'world', which you can experience not only in the HöhlenErlebnisZentrum, but also in the Mining Museum Pit Knesebeck. Do show your children or grandchildren our Fairytale valley. Bad Grund offers you for (nearly) all holiday activities the suitable programme.

Do you know the HöhlenErlebnisZentrum Iberger Tropfsteinhöhle? Get information about the oldest show cave in the Harz or the 'Hübichen Stone'.
