Granite Museum

The association "Schauanlage und Museum der Granitindustrie e.V." of Bischheim-Häslich, which also runs the quarry museum, invites you to a visit.

Aim and wish of the show is Quote:

"To bring the historical granite industry production processes from the extraction to processing and dispatch to life, create with functional technique in functional connection and through museal edited documents from the granite industry history in the Westlausitz."

The exhibition consits of educational trail (1100 m), show facility and museum.

Guided tours through the show facility, the museum and along the educationl trail are offered.
Pre-booking recommended for visitor groups.
Bischheim-Häslich is part of the community Hasebachtal and is situated ca. 30 km from Dresden, between Pulsnitz and Kamenz, in the landscape protection area Westlausitz.
The village can be reached coming from Dresden via the A4 Dresden in 30 to 40 minutes.
