Well-kept gatehouses on the estates are architectonical treasures. Like the one of estate Travenort, with an arched passage and the tail gable. It is rather young for an estate gatehouse. The house stems according to the plaque above the entrance from the year 1912. Built by the then landowners Johannes-Carl Isenberg and Martha Isenberg, nee Brackhausen.
