Convent St. Marienthal in Ostritz



In Ostritz, at the Neise Valley Kunigunde, wife of King Wenzel II of Bohemia founded the Cistercian Abbey St. Mariental in 1234. It has existed ever since.

The convent complex encompasses
     the convent building
     the convent church
     the diocese
     the cross chapel and
     the Kalvierenberg.
