Community Wulften

The village Wulften was first recorded in the year 889. In 1989 the 1.100-year and in the 2000 the 1.111-year existence was celebrated.
All places of interest in Wulften have special signs, which describe the historical life of the object.

The 'Alte Mühlborn' is an old often used community well. In 1928 a water pipeline was laid from the well to the dairy. Around the year 1969 the well was closed. The reconstruction followed in the year 2000.
The 'old pumping station' was built by the water cooperation Wulften-Oberdorf. The first water pipeline for 120 households was laid in 1902 already. From 1970 onwards the Wasserbeschaffungsverband (water providing union) Wulften.

In the year 1502 the masters of Hardenberg laid the foundation stone for the den Saint Aegidien church. In 1591 there was the first Protestant parish priest with the name Laurentius Brinkmann. The church was heavily damaged in the 7-year War from 1756 - 1763. The church tower in its present form was newly constructed in the year 1772.
