There has been a church building in Tripkau since 1618. In 1757 the church was replaced by a simple hall building without tower and this half-timbered is still today the original substance of the nave, which was extended by a choir, vestry and tower in the year 1864. The church was then fundamentally renovated and re-inaugurated in 1998. The interior has numerous cross themes, which are unique in the Hanover regional church.
