Life is good in Kirchlinteln.


The 17 villages of the community are situated in a diverse landscape at the south-western fringe of the Lüneburger Heide.

Many villages have preserved the unmistakeable charm of old farmsteads and offer their citizens peaceful and relaxing residential areas.

Centre village is Kirchlinteln, here is also the seat of the modern administration centre. In the villages Bendingbostel and Luttum are the community's two primary schools situated. The village Kirchlinteln has a secondary school centre.

The pre-school choice is as well developed as the schools. A place at the kindergarten is available to all children from the age of 3 years in the kindergartens Bendingbostel, Holtum (Geest), Kirchlinteln, Luttum, Neddenaverbergen and Otersen. In addition there are crèches resp. day nurseries available.

In this diversity Kirchlinteln offers lots of opportunities foe peace and relaxation but also space enough for discoveries and meetings.
