The Zwillbrocker Fenn is situated west of Vreden directly at the border to the Netherlands.
In the time from March to July, there are around 40 flamingos in the Zwillbrocker Fen before they fly to their wintering home in Holland's southwest.
But there is also a breeding place for black-headed gulls. Right now around 6.000 black-headed gull couples breeding in the Zwillbrocker Fen.
The landscape here is also very attractive!
