The Jugendherberge des Landesverbandes Unterweser-Ems e.V. is situated directly at the Nordenham Weser beach. The approach runs from Großensiel (sign-posted from the Bundesstraße 212). The hostel can be reached on foot in 15 minutes from the train station Nordenham via the Strandallee.

The youth hostel is partially suitable for handicapped persons, has a capacity of 158 beds and is very suitable for schools, organised holiday leisure time activities but also conferences. From November to March accommodation is only given by arrangement.
