Six kilometres south-east of the village Großenaspe, at the border of the  Segeberger Forst is Schleswig-Holstein's largest and prettiest Wildpark situated: Eekholt. Well constructed paths run through the 67 hectare large park with its old tree population past expansive enclosures. One can watch red deer, boar, badgers, otters, foxes, wolfs and many other animals.

Special effort is dedicated to breeding and care of endangered bird species - among them owls, eagles and capercaillies.

The interesting flying presentations by falconers take place in the summer half-year twice daily - apart Fridays.

Insured raptors and wading birds are being treated at the bird nursing ward and when healed released to the wild.

The Wildpark is open all year round daily from 9am to 6pm.
