Visit to Crinitzberg
The community Crinitzberg consisting of the villages Bärenwalde, Obercrinitz and Lauterhofen is situated in a charming and diverse landscape at the Kirchberger red granite area.
Great woods, numerous streams, in parts trout playground again partly again, the many pretty villages with their old homesteads and the close proximity to the Ore Mountains will turn your stay in this area into something very special.
If you rather prefer sportive activities, then take a bicycle and make a tour from Hirschfeld via Wolfersgrün to Obercrinitz. The route has many bends and slight upwards slopes and is a real sports and nature experience.
In Obercrinitz we recommend a visit to the radium spring and the bordering Moosheide.
Until the outbreak of the 2nd World War the Obercrinitzer spring water was used for healing purposes. The mineral spring terrain next to the spring is being preserved and will soon be newly constructed.
