Viewing Tower Kovahl

image author: Michael Ottersbach/pixelio.de

The ca. 15m high tower was built in 1976 and offers a great view over the wooded and river landscape of Göhrde and Elbe.

As of late the tower offers its guest signposts, which explain all visible 'eye-catcher' to the horizon. Part of that are some of North Germany's higher 'hills' like the Hohe Mechtin (142m), the NDR transmission tower with 250m or also the course of the river Elbe.

The Kovahler viewing tower is located in the Nees-valley near 21369 Nahrendorf.
