Since 1997, Hitzacker has a trainings camp on the grounds of the Räsenberg.
It started with the 1. FC.Cologne, the HSV with A and B youth then incorporated.
During the holidays the youngest play on the excellent lawns of the TSV and during leisure time they are off to outdoor pool with giant slide.

The contact to the clubs, HSV, 1 .FC Cologne, Bayer- Leverkusen, Hansa- Rostock, VFL- Wolfsburg, LSK- Lüneburg, Wacker 04- Hamburg, Eintracht- Schwerin and the Reinicken- Füchse- Berlin, which also played in Hitzacker were made by Uwe Seide, who dedicates a lot of his leisure time to the club.

The 'Pas Teheran' a team from Iran played in Hitzacker and gave so the trainings camp an international flair. The team stayed for 2 week.
Last time the football club Asante Kotoko from Ghana was here at the training camp for three weeks. Anthony Yeboah paid them a visit.
Asante Kotoko has won twice the been African football title and they will still improve thanks to the training camp.

Apart from many cultural meetings in and around Hitzacker, eating habits, leisure time possibilities, mentality, meeting with the population are socially relaxing and integrating.
The village offers the teams a lot, be it shopping, walks or just recreation.
