Töpfer - bizarre rock formations

The 580m high Töpfer is marked through many bizarre sandstone rock formations, which Mother Nature formed in the course of centuries.

They carry different folksy names like tortoise, brooding hen, chick, parrots, uncle or aunt.

One of these rocks, the rock gate, has been made to a viewing point through a staircase. The view goes over parts of the  Zittauer Mountains, to the Olbersdorfer Lake to the silhouette of the town Zittau.

The Bergbaude invites holidaymaker and visitors for a cosy rest.
