In Bremen, with its Hanseatic tradition, 'another kind' of fun theatre presented itself when the 'entertainment mile' was extended along the Schlachte.

The stage was relocated onto the swaying planks in December 2002. Since then, evening after evening, presentations, mostly our own productions take place on our Theaterschiff. But there are also diverse guest performances, concerts and readings on offer.

The Theaterschiff Bremen is a converted barge with a berth at the Weser promenade Schlachte. On stage, in her big belly, different plays are being presented - the comedies and pop song revues are mostly funny rather than serious. The Theaterschiff also attracts the audience with guest performances and the programme 'Jazz on Board' (every Monday). Culinary refreshment is offered by the bistro 'Bühne 3'.
