Who hasn't at least once in a wonderful starry night looked astonished up and wished to know much more about the countless stars at the firmament!? But who knows anything about that? The answer is pretty easy: For instance the club Diezer Sternenfreunde e. V.!

The in 1991 founded club pursues its observatory already since mid 1997. It is situated south of Freiendiez next the "Vorderwald", near the barbeque place. Club members can - around 170m above sea level - on a 11,50m long platform put up their telescopes and enjoy their hobby.

OUR TIP: There are star guided tours on Saturdays from 9pm if the sky is clear. By appointment special guided tours can be arranged for schools, kindergartens and other groups. Further info on the Homepage of the Diezer star friends!
