The open-cast mining tour starts in Lauchhammer-Ost at the Eisenwerkhof, road junction Lichterfeld/Kostebrau, past the memorial stone former "Ochsenberge". At the F60, the world's biggest conveyer belt bridge, guided tours are on offer.  In a mobile workshop you can enjoy coffee and cake.  The further in direction  Sallgast. Here are the palac with restaurant and park. Via Annahütte you drive in direction Schipkau.

In Klettwitz you have the option to visit the "Eurospeedway Lausitz". Well worth seeing is the wind park in Schipkau, the most powerful of its kind in Europe. The path will lead via the Hochkippe to Kostebrau. Here are three lovely open-cast viewing points where you can say good-bye from fat to the F60. The tour ends at the Eisenwerkhof in Lauchhammer-Ost.
