The Granary in Osterode, Harz

Directly at the city centre ring and central at the pedestrian area is the grain magazine situated.

This in 1719-1722 developed Baroque building accommodated then up to 2000 tons of grain for the Hanover dynasty.

The grain was sold to the Oberharzer people at fixed and good prices.

The grain magazine is being used since 1989 as guildhall and town administration.
