Guided tour through the monastery facility:
Inform yourself about the living style of the Cistercian monks and their far reaching influence in politics, economy and architecture and of course the history of the monastery Walkenried in the Middle Ages. Regular guided tours are being offered. come with us onto a trip into the past. During the winter season regular guide tours are being offered only on Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm and 3pm.
