Thanks to the Ice Age

How lucky that the three or four Ice Ages have taken place some millions of years ago. The last is supposed to have lasted some 100.000 years and ended roughly 12.000 years ago.

When the last Ice Age finally ended, when giant streams of melting water 'rearranged' large quantities of material the landscape profile of the present district Segeberg was created.
