In the south of Lower Saxony between Harz and Solling in the Leine valley is the village Sudheim with a population of 1706 (status 01/2008) situated
The village name Sudheim is mentioned for the first time in an old document from the year 800. It is one of the oldest villages in the Leine valley. Since the incorporation in the year 1974 the community Sudheim belongs to the town Northeim.
As in most small villages, which belong to the district Northeim there is also an active club life in Sudheim.
A sports ground is available as well as tennis courts.
A multi-purpose hall near the sports ground for sportive or festive events as well as family celebrations is also available.
