Segeberg, in Latin Segeberga, a small town and desolate castle, belonging to the duke of Holstein-Plön, on a hill, which is a limestone hill, nowhere else to be found in the land. Not far from the town are salt springs, which are mostly, compared to Lüneburg, are unused because the Lüneburger organised outflow.
