The Bansin sea-bridge was designed as a pure footbridge without further buildings on land or on the bridge. Exposed on a length of 285m over the around 50m wide sandy beach into the sea, it is still a very popular with tourists as a promenade.
Holidaymakers can sit here, inhale the healthy sea air and enjoy the view of course. At the end of the bridge is a jetty for the passenger ships of the Insel- & Halligreederei ('Adler-Schiffe'), which connect the island's sea bridges with each other but, also offers trips to Poland (Swinemünde) or to Rügen or Bornholm.
One has an impressive view from the sea-bridge onto the architecture of a sea resort. Von der Seebrücke hat man eine eindrucksvolle Aussicht auf die Bäderarchitektur des Seebades.
Again and again an absolute eye catcher!
