Say I do now also on Saturdays

Civil marriages now possible at the Town Hall by appointment

The town Mosbach offers residents who want to get married at the Registry Office on Saturdays a new service. It is now possible from now on once a month on Saturdays outside the usual opening times of the town administration to be joined in marriage.

The registrars have already noted down the Saturday-dates for 2004. Marriages take place always in the morning on 14th February (Valentine's Day)/ 6th March/ 3rd April/ 15th May/ 5th June/ 3rd July/ 7th August/ 11th September/ 16th October/ 6th November and 4th December. If you have marriage plans contact registrar Karlheinz Götz, Tel. 82-218 or Franz Kellner, Tel. 82-220 well in advance to book free dates as well as possible times. Both will try to accommodate your date wishes if possible. The marriage ceremony outside the usual public opening times will carry an additional charge of Euro 55.- as stipulated by law.

Lord Mayor Gerhard Lauth would like to call those who feel 'mature' enough to be joined in marriage to get in contact with the town's administration and book a date! The ceremony room in the historical Town Hall at the Marktplatz offers the suitable frame with special ambience and flair for the weddings on the Saturdays and helps for sure to make this wedding day an unforgettable success. Following the ceremony the newly-weds have the opportunity to walk down the staircase of the historical Town Hall where they will be met with a glass of champagne by family and friends as well as a photograph.
