Plauer Angel's Gate

image author: J.Braune

In the 19th-century, a stately graveyard was set up south of the Plau church. Coming from the palace and walking through the park, the earls of Königsmarck, were then able to reach the family burial ground directly. As a separate graveyard entrance, the 'Angel's Gate' was created, an entrance, which is being flanked by angle figures, which sit on pedestals. It was created by the sculptor A. Möller in 1835.
