Mystical trip into the Eduardsthal

On the trail of the deserted Odenwald village. Themes walk from Kailbach/Hesseneck, 5 hours (walking 3-4 hours)





A mysterious time travel is on the cards when the participants go on a trail search at the deserted village of Galmbach: 150 dwellers lived around the year 1830 in this idyllic basin. It was a time of poverty for the farming population and still poorer are the many homeless people who mostly travelled the country as small trader. The Galmbacher farmer Johann Berg has just about to finish his living-stable-house when the villagers get the news that the village has to be vacated for a princely game park. The participants will learn how the story continuous on the atmospheric discovery walks in the border triangle between Hesse, Baden and Bavaria.
