In 1996 the foundation stone was laid for the rebuilding of a cultural and natural history museum on Helgoland.

Like in the olden days

Historical traditional costumes, ship's models, fossils but also fishing gear, pictures and documents of the last 100 years can be viewed. Situated directly at the spa promenade an old fisherman's shed has been redesigned to house the meeting place of history and culture.
