In close proximity to the castle is the Museum Rade in Reinbek. Inside the Wilhelminian style villa more than 1000 exhibits await the art lover. On show are paintings and objects from all over the world, which were gathered by the author and ethnologist Rolf Italiaander in more than 50 years.

One floor in the house offers regularly changing exhibitions.
