This larger-than-life bronze group in neo-baroque style, is situated in the DürenStadtpark (Willy-Brandt-Park). It was created by the Berlin sculptor Joseph Uphues in 1886. The motif interprets a scene from the legend Romulus and Remus: The Rape of the Sabine Women. The sculpture is under monumantal protection.
