Prehistoric find bear witness to the early settlement in the joined community area, which can be partly viewed in the Local Museum and the countryside itself and so give information about early culture forms.

Past witnesses are the megalith tombs, where people were buried in Bronze times. In Großsterneberg there are three stone graves, which are called 'Stellberge'. They only became visible through the cultivation of the Kehdingen bog when the surface sunk.

The grave between Hammah and Groß Sterneberg is well sign-posted.
