Local and Humboldtmuseum at the Beckenberg

With a height of 407m the mountain, which has three distinctively sloping sides rises roughly 50m above the bottom of the valley near the Landwasser.
The Beckenbergbaude with its imposing tower houses the 
Local and Humboldmuseum.

                          
                      The Museum shows an
                         Oberlausitzer Weaver Room
                             Nativity Scenes
                                 as well as 
                                    Natural and Curio Collection.
