The Lausche is with a height of 793m the highest mountain of the Oberlausitz. Above the peak of the Lausche runs the border with the Czech Republic.
The hiker is being awarded with a fantastic wide view up to the  Osterzgebirge, the Elbsandsteingebirge and the Iser- and Riesengebirge. From here one has a terrific view over the Oberlausitz.
