A Roman estate was dug out in 1978 at the field boundaries to 'Brunnenäcker'. Today it is an open-air-museum and offers interesting and educational sightseeing.

Not only history entices one to Lauffen but also the wine. Different vine varieties are being turned here into excellent wines.
